The walker that
keeps them safe
all night long.

Most falls happen when a senior puts down their walker and walks away from it — in the dark, in the middle of the night. WalkPath lights their path, reminds them to use it, and alerts you before a fall happens.

📉 36 million senior falls per year in the US
🏥 #1 cause of injury death in seniors
💰 $50 billion in annual fall-related costs
🛡️ 80% of falls are preventable

The walker only helps when they're using it.

Seniors — especially those with Alzheimer's and dementia — regularly set down their walker and walk away without it. That moment is when most falls happen. And most caregivers don't find out until it's too late.

🌙

Nighttime is dangerous

Most falls happen when seniors get up at night to use the bathroom — disoriented, in the dark, without their walker. A simple lit path changes everything.

🚶

They forget. It's the disease.

For seniors with dementia, forgetting the walker isn't carelessness — it's the condition. The walker needs to remind them, not the other way around.

⏱️

Caregivers find out too late

By the time a caregiver learns about a fall, it's already happened. WalkPath sends alerts before a fall occurs — when there's still time to help.

Intelligent. Automatic. Invisible to the senior.

No apps for seniors to learn. No buttons to press. No behavior change required. WalkPath works silently in the background, protecting them every moment of every day.

Auto Night Lighting

The moment the walker is picked up at night, warm LED lights gently illuminate the path ahead. No switches. No fumbling in the dark. Just safe, automatic light exactly when it's needed.

Walker Abandonment Alert

If the senior moves away from their walker, it gently beeps to remind them — and sends a caregiver alert if they don't return within 60 seconds. Two chances to prevent a fall before it happens.

AI Fall Prediction

An AI model learns each senior's unique walking pattern. Shuffling steps, uneven gait, and slowdowns — all early signs of instability — trigger caregiver alerts before a fall occurs.

Grip Pressure Monitor

Sensors in both handles detect when a senior grabs on unusually hard — the body's instinct just before a fall. Real-time alerts give caregivers a critical early warning.

What caregivers are saying.

We've been talking to real caregivers and facility directors. Here's what they told us about the problem WalkPath solves.

★★★★★

"My mother has Alzheimer's and she leaves her walker in the hallway constantly. I've been terrified about a nighttime fall for two years. This is exactly what our family needs."

👩
Sandra M.
Daughter & family caregiver, Ohio
★★★★★

"As a Director of Nursing, falls are my number one concern. A device that predicts falls before they happen and requires nothing from the resident — I'd put this in every room."

👨‍⚕️
James R.
Director of Nursing, Memory Care Facility
★★★★★

"The hardest part of caring for my dad isn't the work — it's the constant worry when I'm not there. Knowing his walker would alert me if something was wrong would change everything."

Everything you want to know.

Does the senior need to learn anything new?
No. WalkPath works completely automatically. The senior doesn't press any buttons, open any app, or change any behavior. It's designed specifically so that nothing is required from them — only protection.
What kind of walker does it work with?
WalkPath is designed for standard aluminum walkers — the most common type used by Alzheimer's and dementia patients in both home and facility settings. Rollator versions will follow.
How long does the battery last?
We're targeting a 7-day battery life between charges. The device charges via a simple dock — no small cables or ports for seniors to manage.
How does the caregiver get notified?
Through the WalkPath app on their phone. Fall alerts, abandonment events, and instability warnings arrive as push notifications within seconds of the event.
Is it safe if the senior grabs the walker at night?
Yes. The LED lighting is warm and gentle — not harsh or blinding. It's specifically designed for nighttime use and elderly eyes, fading on gradually rather than switching on abruptly.
How is this different from a medical alert button?
Medical alert buttons require the senior to press a button after falling — which often can't happen. WalkPath alerts caregivers before a fall occurs and automatically if one does, requiring nothing from the senior.
